The Story Behind the Drop

CardDrop was founded by Tim Snyder, a lifelong collector who never lost the "itch" for a fresh pack rip. For years, Tim balanced a hectic professional life with his passion for the hobby, hunting for cards in the small gaps between a demanding schedule.

He realized that for many collectors, the hobby was becoming a maze of high prices, complicated gatekeeping, and "all-work-no-play" mechanics. He wanted to change that. Tim decided to step away from the grind to build something he truly cared about: a platform designed to make it faster, easier, and more affordable for you to find your "white whales" and complete your personal collections.

Our Mission

We aren't a giant, faceless corporation. We’re a lean team driven by genuine passion:

• Tim Snyder is the face and voice you see on our YouTube channel, ripping packs, comparing grades, and sharing the history behind the cards.
• The Crew works behind the scenes, handling the digital art, site tech, and logistics to ensure your cards arrive safe and sharp.
